  5. You need 1/3 cup of red masoor dal.
  6. Prepare 1 of onion chopped.
  7. Prepare 8 cloves of garlic minced.

  1. Soak both the dals for 40 to 45 minutes. Boil dals,potato and papaya with required water, salt and turmeric in a pressure cooker. Release the steam naturally..
  2. Heat oil on a kadhai. Add and allow to splutter the ponch phutan..
  3. Mix onion and green chili. Sauté till raw smell of onion is gone..
  4. Add ginger,garlic and tomatoes and saute on low heat till tomatoes soft and mushy..
  5. Add cumin and pav bhaji masala and saute well..
  6. Mix the chopped palak and cook for a minute..
