Ingredients of Daal palak

  1. It’s 2 cups of spinach leaves chopped.
  2. You need 1 cup of Moong daal.
  3. It’s 1 of Onion chopped.
  4. Prepare 1 of Tomato.
  5. You need 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp of Coriander powder.
  9. You need of Salt to taste.
  10. Prepare 3 of Green chillies chopped.
  11. Prepare 2 tbsp of Ghee.

Daal palak instructions

  1. Soak daal for about 15 mins and boil until fully done..
  2. In a pot add ghee and cumin.when it pops add onion,green chillies and ginger garlic paste..
  3. Fry until onion starts to turn light pink..
  4. Now add red chilli, turmeric and coriander powder.mix and add boiled daal..
  5. Give it a good mix then add tomatoes and salt..
  6. Now add spinach leaves.mix and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes on high flame..
  7. Serve and enjoy.
