Palak Paneer You can have Palak Paneer using 12 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Palak Paneer

  1. It’s 250 gm of Paneer Lightly fried and soaked in warm water (see recipe).
  2. It’s as needed of Veg oil to fry the Paneer.
  3. It’s 70 ml of hot water with little salt to soak fried Paneer.
  4. It’s 600 gms of Palak ( spinach)boiled/ blanched and pureed.
  5. You need 10-12 of Garlic cloves chopped.
  6. It’s 1 of medium onion chopped.
  7. Prepare 2 tsp of veg oil.
  8. It’s 1 tsp of butter.
  9. It’s 1 of Bay leaf.
  10. Prepare 1 of cinnamon stick.
  11. It’s to taste of Salt.
  12. It’s 1/4 tsp of Garam masala.

Palak Paneer instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients as mentioned above. Heat oil and ghee and add the bay leaf and cinnamon stick first.then the garlic and onion and saute it for sometimes.add salt, no need to brown the garlic and onion, add the pureed palak/spinach and cook for sometimes. (see recipe).
  2. Then add fresh Garam masala powder and a dollop of butter and mix well n cook for sometimes. Then add the fried and soaked paneer and gently mix it and cook for sometimes till you get the desired consistency and thickness of the Palak. Serve hot with parathas, rotis etc..
